Patch 1.0 Notes

In order to create a Pre-Renewal balanced environment for all job classes it was neccessary to
reevaluate some features of Ragnarok Online. The balance changes are focused to provide
new alternative builds by making viable the original equipment and skills of Gravity.

RagniteRo's Staff​

Mastela Fruit

Restores 400 to 600 HP ⇒ Increased healing amount. Main healing item HP.

Light Blue Potion

Restores about 60 SP ⇒ Increased healing amount. Main healing item SP.
​

Yggdrasil Berry

Fully restores HP and SP. ⇒ Added 8 seconds delay, disabled during WoE, Bg and PvP.
​

Yggdrasil Seed

Restores one half of Maximum HP and SP. ⇒ Added 8 seconds delay, disabled during WoE, Bg and PvP.
​

Porcentual Recovery Items

The porcentual recovery effect of every item (except Yggdrasil berry, Yggdrasil seed and Poison Bottle) has been removed.

Arrows & Bullets

All elements of Arrows are now infinite.
​

Elemental Bullets

Basic elementals bullets added to the market NPC in the Main Room.
​

Bronze Coin

Can be exchanged for the amout of 2,000,000 zeny. (Main Room)
1.00% Dropped by the monsters of the Rose Room (Prontera).
​

Silver Coin

Can be exchanged for the amout of 5,000,000 zeny. (Main Room)
0.50% Dropped by the monsters of the Rose Room (Prontera).
​

Gold Coin

Can be exchanged for the amout of 10,000,000 zeny. (Main Room)
0.25% Dropped by the monsters of the Rose Room (Prontera).
​

Platinum Coin

Can be exchanged for the amout of 20,000,000 zeny. (Main Room)
0.01% Dropped by the monsters of the Rose Room (Prontera).

Ragnite Coin

A special coin that can be exchanged for Costumes headgears or Gravity slotted headgears. Obtained by automated events and Instances.

Costume Box Ticket

A requirement to get a Costume Monthly Box. Dropped by the Rose Room MvP (low chance).
​

Costume Monthly Box

A special box that contains a costume headgear according to the list of the month (Main Room).​

 

Ring of Flame Lord & Ring of Resonance Combo

Removed the Level 1 Asura Strike autocast.
Replaced the Level 3 Sonic Blow autocast ⇒ Level 1 Cross Impact.
Cross Impact damage extremely reduced to 440% Atk, equal to Sonic Blow Lv 1.

Replaced the Level 1 Sonic Blow autocast ⇒ Level 1 Cross Impact.
Cross Impact damage extremely reduced to 440% Atk, equal to Sonic Blow Lv 1.

Godlike Items

Godlike equipment effects have been removed.​

Godlike Materials

Godlike quests and drop rates have been removed.
​

Gravity 3 Slotted Weapons

Most of the original weapons now can be slotted throught quests in the Main Room (up to 3 Slots).
There are some exceptions (1 Slot Limit) that prevent overpowered weapons:

Gravity 1 Slotted Equipment

A few Armor equipments can be slotted throught quests (up to 1 Slot) in the Main Room.

Gravity 1 Slotted Headgear

Headgear equipment can be obtained by expending Ragnite Coins, Cash Points or Quests in the Main Room.
​

Costume Headgear & Garments

Headgear equipment without status bonuses can be obtained by expending Ragnite Coins, Cash Points or Crafting a Costume Monthly Box.
​

Costume Suits

Third job suits can be obtained by Costume Monthly Boxes or Premium Costume Boxes.
​

Cute Pet System

Taming items, pet armor and pet food dealers added to the Main Room.
​

 

Normal Cards now have a 5.00% drop rate, additionally the following cards have their effects changed in order to create
alternative builds for your favorite characters.

Gazeti Card

Add a 5% chance of auto casting Level 2 Cold Bolt on the enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).

Bloody Knight Card

Add a 4% chance of auto casting Level 1 Meteor Storm on the enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).
​

Chepet Card

Add a 5% chance of auto casting Level 5 Heal on the enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).
​

Hatii Babe Card

Add a 5% chance of auto casting Level 3 Frost Diver on the enemy when attacking(Physical and Magical).

Frost Diver chance Increases to 15%

Kasa Card

Has a 5% chance of auto-casting Level 5 Fire Bolt or Level 5 Fire Ball on the enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).

Mutant Dragonoid Card

ATK + 15
Add a 5% chance of auto casting Level 3 Fireball on an enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).
If the user has mastered the skill at Level 10, it will cast Level 10 Fire Ball.

Owl Duke Card

Add a 0.3% chance of auto casting Level 3 Impositio Manus on the user when attacking.

Add a 4% chance of auto casting Level 5 Lightning Bolt on an enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).

Wind Ghost Card

Add a 3% chance of auto casting Level 3 Jupitel Thunder on the enemy when attacking (Physical and Magical).
If the user has mastered the skill at Level 10, it will cast Level 10 Jupitel Thunder.

Injustice Card

Add a 5% chance of auto casting Level 1 Cross Impact on the enemy when attacking.
Cross Impact damage extremely reduced to 440% Atk, equal to Sonic Blow Lv 1.
The auto cast of Cross Impact does not interrumpts auto attacks.

Moonlight Flower Card

Class: Footgear Card
Enable faster Movement Speed so long as the Footgear to which this card is compounded is equipped.

Golden Thief Bug Card

Class: Shield Card
Reduce Magic Damage by 60%.
Nullify all magic debuffs, including supportive skills, that target the owner at the cost of doubling SP Consumption cost when using skills.
​

Eddga Card

Class: Footgear Card
Enable effect of the Level 5 Endure skill so long as the Footgear to which this card is compounded is equipped.
Maximum HP increased by 1% per refine rate.
​

Maya Card

Class: Shield Card
Reflect single target attack Magic back at the caster (Success Chance 40%).
​

General Egnigem Cenia Card

Class: Shoes Card
Every 10 seconds, you recover 50 HP and 10 SP. Increases Maximum HP and Maximum SP by 10%.
[Refine Rate of equipped Footgear is +9 or above]

Doppelganger Card

Class: Weapon Card
Enable 50% Attack Speed so long as the weapon to which this card is compounded is equipped.

Evil Snake Lord Card

Class: Headgear Card
Never be affected by Blind and Curse effects.
Int + 3.
[Refine Rate +7 or higher]
Each magic cast has a chance of adding Int +7 for 5 seconds.

Dracula Card

Class: Weapon Card
Atk + 25.
Enable a 10% chance of gaining 10% of the damage inflicted upon an enemy as SP with each attack.
When Physically attacking add a small chance to cast Level 1 Vampire Gift.
(An area 11 * 11 area will get hit for 100% damage while you regain 100% damage worth of HP)

Drake Card

Class: Weapon Card
Nullify reduction in damage inflicted on enemies resulting from enemy's size.
Add a 3% chance of auto casting Level 2 Deluge on the user when attacking.
Add a 3% chance of auto casting Level 3 Water Ball on the enemy when attacking.

Osiris Card

Class: Accessory Card
Enable full HP and SP restoration when resurrected.
Causes Stone Curse effect to enemies by 5% chance.

Pharaoh Card

Class: Headgear Card
Reduce SP Consumption of skills by 30%.
[Refine Rate +7 or higher]

RSX-0806 Card

Class: Armor Card
Can not be knocked back.
Vit + 3.
HP + 20%
Make an armor indestructible (except in upgrade attempts).

Dark Lord Card

Class: Shoes Card
Add a 10% chance of auto casting Level 7 Meteor Storm on an enemy when the user receives Physical or Magical Damage.
There is a small chance to cause damage and Curse status ailment to every enemies in the screen they are in.

Maximum HP and SP + 20%.
Reduce cast time by an additional 10%.

Class: Weapon Card
Atk + 50
Gain 1 SP every time when attacking.

High Priest Card

Class: Armor Card
Every time you receive a Magical or a Physical Damage, small chance to auto-spell Level 1 Assumptio on yourself.

Enables use of Level 3 Providence, but adds 30 seconds to the cooldown of this ability.

MasterSmith Card

Class: Weapon Card
Add a 5% chance of breaking the enemy's Weapon and a 4% chance of breaking the enemy's Armor when attacking.
Add a 2% chance of breaking the enemy's Helm and a 1% chance of breaking the enemy's Shield when attacking.

Berzebub Card

Class: Accessory Card
Reduce Casting Time by 50%.
​

Ifrit Card

Class: Accessory Card
Increase ATK, Critical Rate, and HIT every 5 Job Level.
Add a 1% chance of auto casting Level 2 Earthquake on the user when the user receives Physical Damage.
​

Sniper Card

Class: Weapon Card
Reduces HP recovery by 100%.
Add a 10% chance of gaining 20% of the damage inflicted on an enemy as HP with each attack.

Attack Speed

The ASPD limit for all classes have been increased to 194.
​

Instant Cast

The Dex required to have Instant Cast remains unchanged, 150 Dex.​

Expanded Super Novice

Implemented class for the Super Novice.
​

Expanded Super Novice HP & SP ratio

Increased HP & SP ratios at the level of the rest of expanded jobs.
​

Homunculus Max Level

Homunculus now have a Max Level 200.
​

Parrying ( Lord Knight )

Requires Two Handed Sword or Two Handed Spear.
​

Gravity Slotted Two Handed Axe

Now have an extra bonus effect to make them viable: Reduce damage from Long Range attacks by 10%.
​

Gravity Slotted Two Handed Staff

Now have a -5% Matk penalty but are One-Handed.

"Common" MvPs now have a respawn of 30 minutes.
"Rare" MvPs 2 hours respawn: Bio Lab MvPs, Kiel & Valkyrie Randgris.
"Super Rare" MvPs 6 hours respawn:Thanatos, Satan Morroc & Open Instance MvPs (Nidhoggr's Shadow).

Number of normal monsters increased.

Instances NPCs

Endless Tower, Seales Shrine and Orc Memory NPCs have been moved to the Main Room.

Magiknight's Mansion - Instance

A custom end-game instance for experienced players.

Enriched Ores & Gym Pass

The NPCs from Payon have been moved to the Main Room.

Experience Quest

There is a QuestExp NPC at the entrance of the following dungeons:
Abyss Lake, Amatsu Dungeon, Anthell, Ayothaya Dungeon, Beach Dungeon, Bio Labs.

Daily Quests

All accounts can complete up to 5 daily quests at the Main Room.
Reward per quest: 100 Cash Points

Guild System

The experience required to level up a guild has been increased.
Guild Alliances have been removed.​

Guild Extension

The number of members per guild have been decreased to 21.
Guild Extension skill Max Level: 5

Glorious Weapons removed

The bravery, valor and glorious equipment still available at the Battleground.
